Well, this is the start of our double-Moff header. This week, Matt Moffitt. Next week, Justin Moffatt. If you know a Moffitt (or Moffatt) who wants to be the third, let us know and you’ll win a prize!
This episode we go off-site and sit down with Matt at his pad. We talk about Blogging, about Matt’s job at Church Missionary Society (CMS), about books, cars, Bob Hawke, and even Andrew Errington’s upcoming book (to be released in his collected works vol. 1 out soon).
Matt Moffitt is a lovely fella who blogs at Hebel. It was really nice to sit down and chat to him. He’s a thoughtful and kind guy and I’m sure his thoughts and encouragements will be great to listen to!

I’m pretty sure we are Moffatt and Moffitt — Double T.
Well, I’m sure of the former…

You could interview my son, if you have a couple of hours to spare.

I concur with Justin about our names.

Dear Moffitt and Moffatt,
In my haste to begin the Moff double header, I dotted my i’s and yet only crossed my t singular. Not my t’s plural. Shocker! Forgive me for the mistake (I suppose it’d be something akin to the perpetual mispronunciation of Earngey!)
And David, tell me more about this Muffett character! I once had a cat named Miss Muffett, so if your Muffett can talk that would be excellent!

Mark,
Ruth Muffett is our women’s pastor.
As with everything, ask the all-knowing Kate Haggar about her.

David – super slow reply! Sorry!
I asked Katie to get in touch with Ruth for the show. We were keen for it and ready to roll, but Steve and I were just too busy to make it all happen! But, then we decided, let’s interview the all-knowing Kate Haggar – after all, she’s our greatest supporter! And so we did! Today. And it was an excellent interview! She’ll be on next week

hurrah! but, hang on a minute – Kate is contracted to us as a Student Minister. We need to talk royalties, fixing fees, performance incentives…

Haha! This is true, but I’d more worried about her asking for a raise!
