Well, this is a pretty awesome list. My highlights:
- Nirvana takes out #1 with “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and gets three songs in the top 100
- Radiohead and Jeff Buckley get four songs in there each.
- Hilltop Hoods make #17 with the Nosebleed section.
- And RATM get #2 position with “Killing in the Name of”
- Quite a few Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam tracks
- It pretty much confirms that the 90′s was a high-point in awesome music!

it was a fun exercise, but i don’t know why they had to have the stupid title of ‘best of all time’ – maybe best of the 90′s, or fave songs of people who were teenagers in the 90′s – but best of all time?
the more i think about the poll the stupider it seems.
and as for smashing pumpkins – most overrated band of all time. guns and roses without the hair.

hahaha…. dude, come on you know the 90′s rocked. I know it’s cool and all to reminisce about the good old days before we were born. but hey, I’m running with the 90′s.
but I’m sure you’re right. It’s a little bizarre to claim an all-time music high. Mozart would find it a little unfair I’m sure.
re: pumpkins. totally disagree. Siamese Dream rocked out, even if Melacholy went a bit downhill. though I’ll admit that 1979 was a highly overrated song. it should have never made the album!
